Powered by advanced DSP and our Mastertunings, the A200 adapts to your setup and needs - from desktop use to full home theater setups. Its cardioid dispersion makes it a true chameleon, ensures a cleaner and more free presentation, even when placed close to walls, or in tight spaces. Small in size, yet capable of providing a powerful presentation no matter used wirelessly over WiSA or wired with your preamp of choice.
A compact speaker built to adapt.
The ways you can use the A200 are limited only by your imagination. What truly makes the A200 stand out from other compact speakers is its active backfiring woofer that can be utilized in mulitple ways, depnding on the choice of Mastertunings. Seperated internal sealed cabinets is what allows us flexiblity to work with timing, phase and active cardioid dispersion. It also gives you the flexibility to choose the bass extension based on your SPL needs.
Standalone speakers with deep bass reproduction?
If high volume isn’t your priority, or if you’re working with a smaller room, the A200 can easily meet your needs with impressive deep bass, without the need for a subwoofer. It’s a great choice for those who want a clean, simple, and compact setup without compromising on sound quality or that last bass octave other compact speakers often lack.
Center channel speaker?
One of the A200’s core design goals is to perform exceptionally well as a center channel. Once again, its cardioid dispersion sets it apart from other center channels on the market. Center speakers are often placed close to walls or inside cabinets—placements that typically compromise sound quality. Cardioid dispersion helps make these placement challenges “invisible,” resulting in a cleaner, more open sound. You can also install a Mastertuning that emphasizes vocals, if preferred. The A200 also performs very well when placed horizontally.Implementing the A200 in a passive home theater setup is easy too - most AVRs have RCA pre-outs for each channel, allowing you to connect the A200 and integrate it seamlessly alongside passive speakers.
The speaker is configured in a unique way using 2 x active 5" long stroke paper cone woofers.
